The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine

I am lucky to live close to this beauty, it is a very impressive large church, built in the Romanesque and Gothic style.  If you have the chance I recommend that you visit it. After Columbia University it is built on the tallest elevation in Manhattan. The church is about 100 years old and suffered from a fire and building was finished in the 70s, so there are a lot of modern historical references carved into its walls that are fun to see.
