It is September 12th and a great day to give up refined sugar for a month. I have done this before, and it was very hard, because sugar is in everything (pretty much). So I gave up anything that had more than 3 grams of refined sugar per serving. I used honey to sweeten my coffee, baked sweet treats with maple syrup, and bought bread that had very little or no added sugar. It was amazing what a big difference it made in my body that one month of sugar free diet. So I would like to do it again.
