A New Herd

Hi Friend,
I love Sheep (who doesn't, so cute and fluffy.) I found and awesome shop on Etsy, Armadillo Dreams, that sells all sorts of wooden barn animals, and I had to buy these 2 little guys. All I did was wrap them with yarn and now Baby B has a herd of her own. I will be adding to her barn yard friends for sure.

Here is a little "sheepish" knowledge, according to wiki:
Use of the word sheep began in Middle English as a derivation of the Old English word scēap; it is both the singular and plural name for the animal. A group of sheep is called a flock, herd or mob. Adult female sheep are referred to as ewes, intact males as rams or occasionally tups, castrated males as wethers, and younger sheep as lambs. Many other specific terms for the various life stages of sheep exist, generally related to lambing, shearing, and age.

Purl Soho

I love this store. It is located in the trendy Soho, amongst all the fancy stores, where a pair of jeans could cost a $1000.00. Purl Soho has the most amazing yarn and fabric. beautiful prints and lushes colors. every time I go there I tell myself this time is just for ideas and inspiration, but I always come out with a fun new buy. Even better than the store is the PurlBee blog. They have so many DIY knitting and sewing projects. I am on their blog at least once a day if not more. the owner used to work for the Martha Stewart Magazine, so you can find the same simple and clean environment at the Purl
