Another Tea Pot

Here is another tea pot I made to give as a Christmas gift to my sister Aida. She is a musician among many other talents she has. I wrote about her here.
This pot has very simple whirling Dervish illustrations on the pot and on the lid. I was happy with the way it turned out and it was fitting for her since she plays the Daf which is and instrument used by the Kurdish Sufis.

Pistachios Dispenser

Hi Friend,
I have had this candy dispenser for a very long time.  My youngest sister Aida made it in middle school. Now she is all grown up and moved on to far bigger creative adventures, like touring the world with Iron and Wine. She is gone for long periods of time, so I don't get to see her very much, and I sure do miss her. since I am not a big candy fan, I filled the dispenser with pistachios and put it on my desk at work. Now I see and use it everyday, and have a nut thinking of my sister!
