Tuque

This is the easiest hat to knit, and it is very fast. All you need is to Knit a row and purl the next and keep going for about 3-4 inches depending on the size you want to make it. Then divide the number of stitches by 5, knot 2 together at every fifth (Hint: you will decrease 4 stitches every row). Keep decreasing untill you have only a few stitches left (less than 10). Give yourself about 3 feet of yarn and with a crochet hook, run the yarn through the last few stitches, and continue on to seem the hat. Tada!! You have a fitted hat or a tuque.

It Is Time to Knit

Hi Friend,
It is rather cool in NYC today, and the air feels so fresh. It is cool enough to pick up the knitting kneedles again and start making something cozy for the winter to come. I am working on my new hat and I think it is time for another Knit & Eat Party, who wants to come?
Have a lovly day.
